Truth- I watched the biggest loser marathon episode (totally am not a John fan) and after watching the struggle each contestant went through while running and then the emotion they had crossing the finish line made me want to do it too.
SO.......what better way to celebrate turning 30 then to train and run one myself???????????
I started my training yesterday. I printed out a how to start running if you are a non runner like myself and today my thighs feel like they want to fall off because of course I ran more then what they said to do. You might think how stupid right, BUT when you are jogging with you dog and your dog is walking it makes you want to run more!!!! (at least that is what happened to me.) I was of course out of breath and thought do I have smoker lungs??? (I don't smoke-not even socially or when drinking) The only good that came out of the jog was I showed myself that I can

Wow!! I am so impressed. I was all proud of myself for training and running a 5k this year, I can't imagine doing anything more than that though. Of course, you always have been very athletic, so I know you can do it! Good luck to you!
